Accepting the Quote and Scheduling Your Move

How does accepting the quote and scheduling the move work?

When you fully accept a quote, it is essential to confirm it in writing based on the details provided in the offer. This step is not only crucial for accurate administration but also ensures a smooth relocation process. If the invoice will be issued to a company, please include the name and signature of the authorized representative responsible for approving invoices.

Booking the Moving Date

After confirmation, you can coordinate the exact moving date with our team. It’s advisable to secure your date as early as possible, especially during peak periods such as the summer months, December, and January. During these times, selecting a date 30–40 days in advance is recommended to ensure availability. Being flexible with your moving date can also help you benefit from better pricing.

Invoicing and VAT Management

Based on the information in your confirmation, we will issue a proforma invoice and send it electronically. The payment should be made according to the agreement. The final invoice will be issued after the move is completed. Note that for moves within the EU:

  • The total amount is subject to VAT if the invoice is issued to a private individual.
  • If the invoice is issued to an EU company, VAT is exempt provided a valid EU VAT number is supplied.

Why Is Advance Planning Important?

Providing early confirmation and scheduling helps ensure a seamless moving process. Timely decisions not only simplify organization but also make the process more cost-effective. Remember, proper planning benefits not only you but also our team, enabling us to provide the best possible service. 😊
