Due to its central location in Europe, Germany is our most common removals destination. We send several trucks with different capacities to Germany on a weekly basis, which allows us high flexibility in delivery times. Whether your own truck or truckload, a part load or a delivery via our partner warehouse, you can count on our assistance.
Due to the low ceiling height of newly built German dwellings, it is advisable to disassemble tall furniture prior to departure and then reassemble upon arrival in the new apartment, so as to avoid damage. A further country-specific factor is that properties are not automatically equipped with built-in kitchens, so you may have to arrange for the installation of your new kitchen when moving. If you buy your kitchen furniture at home, we can also help you transport it from the store to your home, or arrange delivery via our warehouse for home delivery, so as to avoid the need for home storage.
Some areas of the country can only be accessed by trucks with a valid environmental certification. All the trucks we work with bear this accreditation, so we can transport to these areas without problems. It’s also worth noting that in many residential areas on Saturdays at noon until Sunday, a noise restriction is in place, which prevents lorry traffic and removals from occurring.
If your pet is moving with you, in addition to a chip, animal passport and compulsory vaccines, a variety of medical examinations must be undertaken before you travel. Throughout this entire process, we’re at your service.
